Tower Plumbing has been a long time part of the Vegreville business community.

History

Tower Plumbing originated as Joe’s Plumbing in the 1940’s operated by Joe Fedechko, and was Purchased in the 1950’s by Lloyd Bauer and 2 other partners and the name was changed to Tower Plumbing & Heating Ltd. and was operated for several years with 3 partners until the 1980’s when Lloyd Bauer bought out his partners and operated the business as the sole owner until February 1, 1999, when the business was sold to Rob Dewes and reincorporated as Tower Plumbing & Heating (1999) Ltd.

Rob was born in Edmonton, and raised on an acreage West of Edmonton near Devon. After high school, Rob attended Lakeland College in Vermilion, where he met his wife Roxanne. They eventually settled on a farm near Chipman AB.

Rob finished his Plumber/ Gasfitter trade certification in 1996 and worked at various construction sites in Alberta, before taking a position with the Town of Vegreville as a Plumber doing building maintenance as well as foreman of the water and sewer division. From the Town of Vegreville Rob met Lloyd Bauer and decided to purchase Tower Plumbing.

Rob is committed to providing quality service, with a personal touch, to all of the Tower Plumbing customers, current and future. Tower Plumbing employs some of the highest quality trades people and support staff available, as well as providing employment opportunities, full time, part time and student summer employment, for the people of Vegreville and area.

Judy grew up north of Innisfree, after being away for 26 years she has returned to the area she has always called home.

Judy has 28 years of customer service and office experience. Plumbing and heating is a new industry for Judy so it has been a learning curve.

Tower Plumbing is a strong community supporter, raising close to $30,000.00 for Victim Services, as well as many donations to various community programs, including the Ag. Society, minor sports, horse clubs, 4H and more.
